Charlotte is a very beautiful and clean city, rich with entertainment. Even though Charlotte is full of such great attractions it also has cockroaches. Some of the cockroaches that are found in Charlotte are the German roach and the American roach.

What is a Cockroach?

A roach is an insect that can grow to be ½ to 2 inches long. Cockroaches are vectors, which mean they have the ability to carry and transmit different diseases. When roaches find an area they can survive in they can infest it by hundreds.

The American cockroach is a reddish brown color and will have yellow markings on the sides of the body. Both male and female American roaches have wings, but don’t like to fly very far. Removing their food sources, and keeping areas dry, will move their food and water needs; forcing them to move out or die.
